Looking through photos tonight and wanted to share Halloween '09 photos of my sweet Madison (4) and Cayden (2 1/2). That's all. Totally out of chronological order, but who cares! (Thanks for the photos, Kate!) By the way, these don't enlarge when clicked upon.

I was born a reader. The first "grown-up" book I chose for my own came from a school book fair when I was in the fourth grade -- Little Women. I still have it, 60 years later. As my kinship with the March girls grew, I came to identify with one more than the others. It certainly wasn't shy, timid Beth or proper Meg. I resonated with Amy through our love of art, but at last, because of her adventurous and independent nature -- often awkward and outspoken, though completely open -- it was decidedly Jo.
