Deep Freeze

I just learned from the nightly news that this is the longest freeze the U.S. has had in decades....all kinds of records being set throughout the nation.  The temp is 49F down here at Miramar Beach as I write this, but that sun can feel toasty.  Do you think this might be a sign that the Arctic Freeze is thawing down here?
